Blast From the Past #1

Hello again fellow viewers, we've currently been practicing the art of photography for around 8-9 months now and in our minds have definitely improved.

In this series of blogs labelled "Blast From the Past" we will be displaying some of our much older photographs from when we were just beginning to dabble in the craft of photography.

Damien's Earlier Photographs ~

A Summer sunset in 2011,Damien's First Photograph.
Being the first Photograph  I had taken with my new Olympus digital camera, I was quite ecstatic at how it turned out, this was the photo that all started my affair with photography.

A macro shot of a bunch of flowers.

This was one of the first photo's that I experimented using the macro option, I was surprised to see a much finer detail shown and it made me realize the power of the different camera settings.

A macro of an "Insects eye view"

I decided to try and take a shot in form of an "insects eye view", it turned out to be quite an interesting photo as it makes your mind wander into the smaller ecosystems that exist in this world.

Jacob's Earlier Photographs ~

A close-up of a banksia flower
This is one of Jacobs shots of a banksia, this photo brings out the stunning detail of a beautiful native Australian flower.

A landscape of Cape Le Grand National park in Western Australia
This shot of Cape Le Grand national park shows the wide range beauty of this national park, it also shows of the amazing ability of a landscape shot.

A close-up of an Australian Blue Manna Crab

This close-up of a Blue Manna Crab shows astounding detail, detail that is usually unseen by the naked eye.

On an ending note, I hope you all enjoy these photographs that we have taken sometime during our lives and we hope you return for the next issue of our blog.

Kind Regards, Jacob and Damien.
